How we help

Our Services

Buying glasses is only part of what we do. Getting the prescription, the lens, the measurement and the after care right is what actually determines whether you enjoy wearing them for years. All of it happens in the shop, and most of it costs nothing.

Appointments
Not needed. Walk in Monday to Saturday, 10:30 am to 8 pm
Typical visit
About forty minutes from walking in to placing an order
Adjustments
Free, permanently, including frames bought elsewhere
COMPREHENSIVE EYE TESTING

Comprehensive eye testing

Thorough, unhurried, and explained. You should leave understanding what changed and why, not just holding a slip of paper.

A test with us starts with computerised refraction to get an objective baseline, then moves to subjective testing where we refine it against what you actually see. We check both eyes together as well as separately, test near vision, and compare the result against the glasses you walked in wearing.

If your prescription has not meaningfully changed, we will tell you that. A small shift on paper does not always justify new lenses, and we would rather you spent the money when it makes a real difference.

An in-store eye test supports the fitting of prescription eyewear. It is not a substitute for a full medical eye examination by an ophthalmologist, and if we see anything that should be looked at medically, we will say so and recommend you get it checked.

  • Computerised refraction plus subjective refinement
  • Near vision and reading assessment
  • Comparison against your current glasses
  • Colour vision and basic binocular checks on request
  • Prescription kept on record for future orders
  • Referral advice if something needs a medical opinion
LENS CONSULTATION AND FITTING

Lens consultation and fitting

The lens matters more than the frame, and it is where most of the money goes. It deserves an actual conversation.

We walk you through index, design and coatings against your prescription and your day. Someone on a screen for nine hours has different needs from someone who drives at night, and both are different from someone who mainly reads.

Higher index lenses are thinner and lighter, and for strong prescriptions they make a visible difference. For mild prescriptions they often do not, and we will say so rather than upsell you. The same applies to coatings: anti-reflective is worth it for almost everyone, blue filters are worth it for some people and not others.

Pupillary distance and fitting heights are measured on the frame you have chosen, in store. This is not a step you can skip or estimate, and it is the reason online orders so often feel subtly wrong.

  • Lens indexes from 1.50 through 1.56, 1.60, 1.67 and 1.74
  • Anti-reflective, hard, hydrophobic and oleophobic coatings
  • Blue filter and photochromic options, explained honestly
  • Polarised lenses for driving and outdoor glare
  • Pupillary distance and fitting height measured in store
  • Full explanation of what each option costs and what it buys you
CONTACT LENS FITTING

Contact lens fitting

Your spectacle prescription is not your contact lens prescription. Fitting matters, and so does learning to handle them properly.

A proper contact lens fitting starts with measuring your corneal curvature and diameter, because a lens that does not match the shape of your eye will move, blur or irritate however correct the power is. We then select a trial pair and have you wear them in store so we can check the fit on the eye.

Before you take any lenses home we teach insertion and removal, and go through cleaning, storage and replacement schedules properly. Most contact lens problems come from handling and hygiene rather than from the lenses themselves.

We stock dailies, monthlies, toric lenses for astigmatism, and multifocals. If you are new to lenses we usually start with dailies, because they remove the cleaning routine from the learning curve.

  • Corneal curvature and diameter measurement
  • Trial lenses worn and assessed in store
  • Insertion, removal and hygiene training included
  • Daily, monthly, toric and multifocal options
  • Solutions, cases and lubricating drops stocked
  • Follow up check after your first few weeks
PROGRESSIVE AND BIFOCAL FITTING

Progressive and bifocal fitting

Progressives fail more often from bad measurement than from bad lenses. This is the step that decides it.

A progressive lens moves gradually from distance power at the top through an intermediate corridor to reading power at the bottom. For that corridor to sit where your eyes actually look, we measure your fitting height on the specific frame you have chosen, with the frame adjusted on your face first.

We also talk through corridor width. Wider corridors are more comfortable but need more lens height, which rules out very shallow frames. If you have set your heart on a shallow frame we will tell you what that will cost you in comfort before you order, not after.

Adaptation takes a few days to a couple of weeks. We will explain what normal adaptation feels like, and what is not normal, so you know when to come back. If they genuinely are not working we will re-check the measurements and fix it.

  • Fitting heights measured on your chosen frame, on your face
  • Frame adjusted before measurement, not after
  • Corridor width matched to frame depth and your reading habits
  • Bifocals available for anyone who prefers a defined segment
  • Office and computer lenses as an alternative for desk work
  • Adaptation guidance, and a re-check if something feels wrong
REPAIRS AND ADJUSTMENT

Repairs and adjustment

Screws loosen, nose pads harden, frames get sat on. Most of it takes us five minutes, and we do not charge for it.

Bring your glasses in whenever they stop sitting right. We tighten hinges, realign temples and fronts, replace nose pads, screws and temple tips, and straighten frames that have been bent. It does not matter where you bought them or how long ago.

Larger repairs such as soldering a broken metal frame or replacing a temple arm depend on the frame and on parts availability, and we will tell you honestly whether it is worth doing or whether reglazing into a new frame is the better value. Sometimes the answer is that a frame has reached the end of its life, and we will say that too.

We also run frames through an ultrasonic cleaner, which reaches the grime in hinges and around nose pads that a cloth never will.

  • Hinge tightening and full realignment, free of charge
  • Nose pad, screw and temple tip replacement
  • Bent frame straightening
  • Soldering and structural repair where the frame allows
  • Ultrasonic cleaning while you wait
  • Frames bought elsewhere are welcome
LENS REPLACEMENT AND REGLAZING

Lens replacement and reglazing

If your eyes have changed but your frame has not, you may not need a new frame at all.

Reglazing means fitting new lenses into a frame you already own. When the frame is structurally sound and you like how it sits, this is usually the better value decision, and it means keeping a frame you already know suits you.

We check the frame first: hinge condition, whether the material has gone brittle, and whether the rim or groove will hold a new lens securely. Very old acetate and some rimless mounts do not survive the process, and we would rather tell you that before we take the lenses out than after.

The same service covers upgrading lenses in a frame you like, for instance moving from a basic lens to a thinner index, adding an anti-reflective coating, or turning a favourite frame into prescription sunglasses.

  • New prescription lenses in your existing frame
  • Frame condition assessed honestly before we start
  • Lens upgrades: thinner index, better coatings, tints
  • Prescription sunglass conversion for a frame you already own
  • Works with most full rim, semi-rimless and rimless frames
  • Clear advice when replacing the frame is the better call
FRAME STYLING CONSULTATION

Frame styling consultation

Face shape, colouring, proportion and what you wear day to day. It is a real process, and it takes about ten minutes.

Most people arrive knowing what they like and unsure whether it suits them. We work through face shape and the contrast principle, which is simply that frames generally look best when their lines counter your face's lines rather than repeat them, and then look at proportion: frame width against face width, and how the top rim sits relative to your brow.

Colouring matters too, and it is the part most people skip. Warm and cool complexions suit different metals and acetates, and getting this right does more for how a frame reads than the shape does.

Then we ignore all of it if the frame genuinely looks good on you, because rules are a starting point and not a verdict. What we will not do is tell you a frame works when it does not.

  • Face shape and proportion assessment
  • Contrast and colouring guidance for metal and acetate
  • Frame width matched to face width, properly measured
  • Brow line and rim height, the detail most people miss
  • Shortlist of three or four frames rather than a wall of options
  • An honest opinion, including when it is not the one you wanted

Other things we do

Smaller services that come up often enough to be worth listing.

Screen and office lenses

Lenses tuned for the distance between your eyes and your monitor, with a wider comfortable zone than progressives give you at a desk. Worth considering if your eyes ache by mid afternoon.

Prescription sunglasses and tinting

Most frames we stock can be glazed with prescription tinted or polarised lenses, including progressives. We can also tint lenses in a frame you already own.

Children's vision follow-up

We keep children's prescriptions on record and follow up when a recheck is due, with practical guidance on screen time and outdoor hours for prescriptions that are moving quickly.

Driving and night glare

Advice and lens options for drivers, from polarised daytime lenses to anti-reflective coatings that cut headlight halos on evening and monsoon drives.

Corporate and bulk orders

Screen lenses and safety-suitable eyewear for teams and offices in and around Jalgaon, with testing arranged in batches. Message us to discuss numbers.

Prescription records and reminders

Your prescription, frame measurements and lens specification stay on file, so a spare or a replacement does not mean starting over. We call when a recheck is due.

Our approach

Every customer should leave more informed than when they arrived

The average person wears their frames for twelve to sixteen hours a day, for years. Very few decisions stay that close to someone. That responsibility cannot be approached casually, so every recommendation we make is deliberate and every detail is considered.

Booking a test

There is no appointment system to navigate. Walk in during opening hours, or message us first and we will tell you a good time to come by.

Eye tests

Walk in whenever suits you

Monday to Saturday, 10:30 am to 8 pm. If you would rather avoid a wait, send a message and we will suggest a quieter time.
